Waffle is a Summon Bear that spawns a robot from your base's entrance, walking along the track and damaging enemies it collides with based on how much HP it has left. Unlike Pineberry, her summons have less HP, don't attack by default, do less damage, are faster, have a shorter cooldown in-between summons, can have multiple active at a time, and have cheaper upgrades. On maps with multiple paths, her Waffle Bots alternate between the first and second track when choosing a path to go to. Summons without the combo effect active only slow to 3/4ths of their normal speed when near an enemy.

Placing Waffle in Pineberry’s range gives her summons the ability to attack via a laser being shot at enemies. The more Waffle and Pineberry are upgraded, the stronger the laser attack will become.

Strategies

• Using Matcha and Bacon's combo, you can decrease her cooldown, allowing her to spawn new Waffle Bots faster on top of buffing her bots' damage.
• However, you shouldn't place Waffle in the middle of crowds, since she'd be taking up room that other damage-dealing Bears could be using. It's better to place her far away from the path or in the range of another Pineberry to activate their combo.

Trivia

• Waffle and Pineberry are rivals.
• Waffle was originally going to be named "Latte" and be related to Mocha; this was changed to avoid confusion.
• Waffle is the only bear to have 2 renders. During the Egg Hunt Easter event, it was shown that her render was looking slightly more up to the left in the chapter.
