Sushi is one of the three starter Bears, the other two being Pepper and Cupcake. Her low cost and high placement limit are contrasted by her low damage output, making her a good choice for defending the early waves.

Sushi has a white skin tone. She has short green hair with square bangs and bear ears with orange as the inner part, her short hair is sharpened at the bottomost area. She has grey blushes and grey belly. Lastly, she has orange circular paws.

Strategies

• Sushi can be used as a great early defense for most maps.
• Since Sushi is a Ranged Bear, placing Sushi behind Melee Bears like Pepper is good, so both Bears can do maximum damage.
• Buffing Sushi with Matcha and Bacon is a good strategy since her DPS (damage per second) is quite low.
• Sushi is great at single-target damage, making her a good choice for bosses, especially when buffed.

Trivia

• In the updated Sugarcube Subway lobby, there is an image of concept art of Sushi that has a green shirt, whilst still keeping the height of her first level design. This was scrapped.
• Sushi is one of the only two Bears to not get a Halloween skin for the 2022 Halloween Event, the other being Matcha.
• Sushi is the first bear in the game to get an S tier skin.
• Sushi is the first bear to have two of their skins reworked.
  • In the Savory City update, Sushi’s Jungle Serpent skin was changed to have a custom model for her soy sauce cannon. This was due to the cannon having a normal snake on it, which caused confusion since all animals in the Flavor Frenzy universe have a food and the snake did not.
  • In the Chapter 3 update, Sushi’s Picnic Time skin was reworked.
• Sushi is one of the first 6 Bears to be added to the game in Alpha, the other 5 being Pepper, Cupcake, Ube, Flan, and Mocha.
