Matcha is a Support Bear that raises the damage of all Bears in her range. She is an essential Bear for higher-difficulty maps, especially when her combo is activated.

Placing Bacon in Matcha's range decreases the cooldown of all Bears in her range. The more Matcha and Bacon are upgraded, the more their cooldown will be decreased.

Strategies

• It's best to place Matcha in the middle of crowds of damage-dealing Bears so she can buff them, though it’s preferred you leave room for Bacon to activate their combo.
  • Do note that Matcha only buffs the damage and cooldown stats respectively, so if you tried to buff Ube or Flan's effects, then nothing would happen since their effects don’t count as damage. However, things such as the firerate of Pineberry's spirits also get upgraded.
• Matcha's combo is extremely useful since lowering the cooldown of Bears increases the amount of times they can attack when an enemy is in their range, therefore increasing the amount of damage they can do.

• It is implied that Matcha is famous in some way, seeing as she has her own game (Matcha Cha Cha in Skate n' Dine; also mentioned by Pepper in the tutorial) and a magazine about her in Bookworm Library, titled "Idol".
• Matcha is one of the two Bears to not get a Halloween skin during the 2022 Halloween event, the other being Sushi.
• Matcha was the first Bear to be added after the pre-existing Bears that were present on launch.
• Bacon is Matcha's camerawoman.
